We are pleased to invite you to the 5th International Conference on Social Sciences, organized by the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University, Biga, to be held online on 8–9 October 2026.

The main theme of this year’s conference is “The Use of Artificial Intelligence in Social Sciences and Social Transformation.” Today, the application of artificial intelligence extends beyond technical fields such as engineering and natural sciences, encompassing a wide range of social science disciplines as well. Our conference aims to address both the use of artificial intelligence in the social sciences and the social transformations emerging from these developments.

The technological and digital transformation characterized by the increasing use of artificial intelligence, together with its integration into the social sciences and the opportunities generated by this integration, offers significant contributions to the world of social sciences. In addition, the conference seeks to provide a platform for discussing diverse perspectives on artificial intelligence by addressing the ethical and methodological debates that may arise regarding its application in social science research.

Within this framework, the conference welcomes scholars, researchers, policymakers, practitioners, and students interested in all areas of the social sciences—particularly, but not limited to, topics related to the main theme of “The Use of Artificial Intelligence in Social Sciences and Social Transformation.” The conference aims to provide a platform where participants can share, review, and discuss their research findings and theoretical contributions.
